My wife and I went to dinner here recently for our anniversary. Leo was our waiter and did an excellent job. Everything was five stars. The steak was excellent and not too far off from Smith & Wollensky in Chicago or Peter Luger Steak House in New York.

This restaurant was the best food I've ever had. Their steaks were impeccable! Their sides and appetizers were amazing. Their cocktails were very tasty. I am so sad to hear it has closed. We are from out of town and would come here every Fall when we'd visit family for a special date night.

This place has exquisite food with special preparation. I had the halibut special before steely dan and I have never eaten fish that tasted so fresh, moist and delish. The Brussel salad and oysters Rockefeller were done just right. They also have a place out back for cigar smoking and sell a few different sticks. Thank you

Am here with the Landmark group. We all had steak variations and was all excellent. Same for various sides and drinks. Excellent service and attention in our private area which was nicely apart from other customers we didn't see or hear until departure. I would sure like to return.

Me and the wife went to Bass Street for the first time, and couldn't have been more impressed. We chose Bass Street just because we wanted to celebrate. The service was exceptional, and our entrees were delicious the menu didn't disappoint!

So, first things first: this is a great place to get a steak. It's also quite spendy. My wife and I have been here on 3 other occasions and have always been impressed with both the food and the service, both are very good and you will pay handsomely for them. Our most recent trip was before Xmas. We tried the A5 Kobe beef, very tasty but not worth $50 for 2 oz. They had run out of the special that I wanted (braised short rib) so I had a petite filet instead, very solid steak. My wife had a seafood special they were running and it was incredibly good and expertly paired with horseradish mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was a great meal, but it also ran over $250 which for this area is about 50% too much. Go if you want a great meal and don't mind dropping some coin

I recently went to Bass Street for the first time, and couldn't have been more impressed. We chose Bass Street for the location of a large family dinner (12 people). The service was exceptional, and our waiter managed our large table efficiently and expertly. Our entrees were delicious (it's the best steak I've had in the Quad Cities), and our waiter made great recommendations for side dishes that would suit our diverse group. I was also happy to see a Plantation Salad on the menu, and it didn't disappoint! They were very patient with our guests, which included guests from age 2 to 92. And when our party lingered at the end of the night, we didn't feel rushed at all. I live in Chicago, but my husband and I agreed that Bass Street would definitely be our new "nice night out" spot in the QC. My only (small, nitpicky) complaint: our Manhattans were served over crushed ice. That's a classic cocktail staple...and it just wasn't made properly.

While in Moline for a business trip my colleagues wanted a decent steakhouse. So I hopped on Yelp and this stop caught my eye because of the variety of cuts and seafood options. They don't open till 4pm so we made sure to be there right when they opened. Once we arrived at 4pm they told us that the grill needed to be heated more but that didn't stop us because we all ordered drinks. 10 minutes later we were able to order anything. Appetizers: Calamari- I usually order this at every restaurant I got to and this by far has been the best I've tried. They don't come in the usual way you think, they're thick cuts and seasoned well. The sauce that goes with it is wonderful and compliments the calamari. Steak: Tomahawk- Wow this thing is huge! I ordered it medium and it came out just the way I like it. It also comes with some potatoes and fried onion rings. I didn't care for those things because all I wanted was the steak. There's also a side of sauce that comes with the steak for added flavor. Also, you will not be able to finish this steak alone, it's very big. Trust me on that. This is a great steakhouse and the service was on point. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a nice steakhouse.

I grew up in Moline. Nice to see a restaurant make it more than a year. This place has held true to its values. Great service. Great food. We come back every year. The bar is a great place to start and finish. Amazing selection. The food is comparable to any restaurant in the big cities. Lastly the people. Jeff who is one of the two owners is always around to great customers. It's a great family feel with amazing customer service and food. Worth your time and money. Last night we had the Caesar. Oysters. NY Strip. Prime Rib. Grilled Oysters. Medallions. Etc. we cleared the menu. Finished at the bar with amazing after dinner drinks. Ahhhhhhh Give it a try.
